1 Doeling 2 Hassler 3 McCleary 4 Crocker 5 Timm 6 Greenwood these are my top six picks and once again I never saw an intencinal headbutt on hasslers part but yes I saw one from McCleary boy what it a weird looking one at that but then what the coach did, I have to say if a girl gives you the finger you just don't do that no matter what

So far this season the top 6 HWT's all have losses... with the exception of Greenwood who has only really been contested once so far this season, none the less he's undefeated and as far as i know only one of his matches has lasted over a minute. I can't wait to see him wrestle some of these other hwts who are getting all the notoriety. after all he did place 4th at state last year. He will have his hands full but i would not rule him out of contention for a state title, and i definately would be suprised if he wasn't at least in the state finals!!!

well i know u guys have taken it hard on mccleary for blowing up at that mom of minot ryan but i mean i know he has a temper...but there is one thing that bothered me...i mean i coudl see how u could get mad at a someone flicking u off,,,,but i mean at the linton tourney when bitz beat keith mccleary.....there was a big controversie over the mat that mccleary got a point taken away and bitz won the match in overtime...but what really bothered me...even tho everyone from napoleon and himself (keith)believed he had really won that match was when keith was called to receive his metal, he threw the metal out onto the mats where the matchs had already been over but he just took the metal and threw it on the mat....i mean even if u believe u won the match u still do not just take the metal and toss on to the mats just cause u think u are tough i mean...come on get some sportsmanship over there...i mean a two time state champ behaved better than he did after losing a match....what i think was a bunch of bull and i also heard that reis was a lil punk when he lost...lets get some sportsmanship over there......just a thought........peace

I agree that it was not right for mccleary to throw his medal on the mat after he lost, but why would he want it, it wasnt really his, his was the first place one that the ref screwed him out of during the match. mccleary had bitz on his back for over 10 seconds and got 2 near fall for it. is that even possible?

I agree that the HWT state title is as of yet undecided. On any given tournament you can have a different winner. As for the Carrington Duals I watched the Mcleary/Crocker match which was nothing spectacular. Both were slow and backing away from each other. It was pure luck that Crocker pulled that one off. The Doeling/Crocker match was also lackluster, both backing away from each other. Again pure luck that Crocker was the winner. Remember Doeling pinned Crocker in the first period the very first duo. Hassler, you have to give him credit that he is an aggressive Hwt most of the time, but with an attitude that really turns fans off, but then they love to watch those matches.

I was at the Linton Tourney. I thought the 215# match was darn good. I was impressed with both wrestlers. I do agree that the ref was screwed up in points. I believed 2 x's that the points were not right and actually did not think the match should have even made it into overtime. Again a good match between both of them. I think Reis was just having a very bad day. I did not see all of his matches, but when he lost the last one I saw disappointmen in himself, not a bad temper. I don't think that Greenwood will meet any of the wrestlers in the other 5 spots until regions? Anyone know any different. I also would not put Timm in the top five slots, unless he was having a bad day at Linton.

Cavalier is going to be at the Rugby Tournament on the 4th, i know that hassler won it last year, don't know if they will be back this year, but maybe Greenwood and Hassler will see eachother there. also, I dont' see how crocker could get LUCKY and beat three returning placers in one weekend, unless he has a voodoo doll stashed away somewhere!

Looked on ndhsaa.com and it says Cavalier duals Hillsboro at Hillsboro on January 30th. Greenwood and Crocker will be a good one.

I also looked on the NDHSAA website and found that Cavalier DOES NOT wrestle carrington, Greenwood and Doeling probably will not wrestle eachother until regionals, and unless they wrestle eachother at the team regional tournament how can you seed the two of them in the same region? there is definately somethign wrong with scheduling if you don't even see all the teams in your region BEFORE the regional tournament!

hey, i'm new here, but browsing through, i happen to agree with a lot of the predictions for top hwts. I was at the linton tourney and I do have to say that Tyler Doeling looked good. I know he hasn't been wrestling for all that long he always kind of improves. Mccleary does need to get into shape to entirely be dominant. Have not seen Greenwood, but hear good things. Hassler is also aggressive, but sometimes the out-of-control attitude can cost ya when it counts. Doeling also has great practice partners in both Mark Pazdernike and Kevin Wolsky. That can help out tremendously. Also heard his brother is gonna be back to practice with, that type of animosity in the practice room fires guys up. But my prediction as of right now: Hassler.

I'm changing my prediction I'm going with: hassler hey was dominate in New Town and I think he will dominate in state I'm looking forward to a doeling/hassler finals match at state this year and i give the inside track to hassler

sure hassler was dominating at new town, but who did he have in his weight? in the results it looks like he didn't have anyone to give him a match. have to go crocker number 1 - he beat doeling, mccleary, and hassler all in one weekend plus last weekend at west fargo he beat number 1 ranked nick bonnet from west fargo.

How can you say Hassler and Doeling in the finals, i can maybe see hassler, but doeling has been beat too many times already this year to make the finals, he did beat crocker... but then lost to him the next time! and lost to mccleary, hassler, and aparently a couple class "A" guys (jamestown tourny, valley city dual) he's a high placer but no chance at makin the finals
