Yes, I guess I was wrong about Joey, I guess I just like the kid he seems so mature. After seeing Lang at state I realize just how tough he is and boy is he an animal.

Jeez what about Dusty Vliem here? That kid is a stud. he comes from out of no where and beats Seth Murphy the kid seated second twice. He beats him at the regional tournament and then at state. Like I say watch out for Dusty Vliem he is a tud and is only going to be a sophomore I look at him taking his next 3 state championships.

I totally agree, Dusty will be a force to be reckoned with. Another wrestler that will come from out of no wher this year will be rockie stavn. I predict the next 2 state titals for him.

Guest I think you should get your story straight before you post. After Neigum beat Lang, Lang & Neigum both shook hands and that was that. No coach had to drag Lang back to shake hands with anyone. I was near the podem with the placers on the stand and Lang said nothing. Anyone who was there knows what went on after the match. If you are going to post crap like this, sign your name or get off the site. I have never put any wrestler down nor have I, nor will I ever talk crap or another wrestler who puts out the effort for the sport. That is the type of hallway, backyard talk that will get you no where.

The dominate wrestlers in Class B wrstling are hase from Harvey, Haugen from Ryan, Henderson from Hettinger, and Imdeki from Linton these are the kids that year in and year out have dominated that state and have coaches scrabbling to change there lineups around them.

The most dominating wrestler of last year in "B" was by far Jesse Laber with his only loss coming to Piper at the bismark rotary(which was a mistake). Lennick was dominat last year at 103 but this year at 112 he still is very good but is defininatly beatable. Nobody will touch Irman. Haas, haugan and imdeike are all dominating this year and have been in previous years. Reis this year is struggling but come tounament time he'll come through. Kelly and Keith McCleary are dominating at there weights. Keith has one more year left and if hes this good this year what will he be like next year? all in all there are alot of "good" wrestlers that are close to being dominating but there not Labers or Sabots yet. and they shouldnt be. Its not every year that you see an eric sabot or a Jesse laber.

Dominating should mean all year long they pound on guys. This year I would say Shane Hase, Joe Irmen, Ben Imdieke, Travis Lang, Justin Hoag, and Michaelson and Mellmer from Dickinson.

if you say dominant means pounding on everyone all year long, then laber is your man.... last year he tech. falled or pinned nearly everyone he wrestled. he pinned his way through state including the duals and he stuck the runner-up twice last year and tech. falled him once. now thats pretty dominating i think.

Dominant ALL year long.(including frestyle, greco, etc) Jesse was a great folkstyle, class B, wrestler. But he didn't win the triple crown. He lost both frestyle and greco titles to Lack by pin. I can't say that is dominating.

HOW CAN YOU SAY LABER WASNT A DOMINATING WRESTLER. HE HAD ONE LOSS ALL LAST YEAR WHICH SHOULDNT HAVE HAPPENED CUZ HE GOT SCREWED AND HE REDEEMED THAT AT A NATIONAL TOURNAMENT WHERE HE BEAT AN UNDEFEATED STATE CHAMP FROM SD WHO HAD BEATEN PIPER EARLIER IN THE YEAR. OH, DID I FAIL TO MENTION THAT HE IS ALREADY RANKED IN THE NATION AT 197 AS A FRESHMAN. SOUNDS PRETTY DOMINATING TO ME!!!

both times that laber wrestled lack in freestyle and greco he was dominating the whole match and lack ended up getting some cheap move to put laber to his back and pinning him. laber was a way better wrestler! and as wrestler03 said, he is ranked in the nation as a freshman and has been doing very well there, i think that says a lot too.

Getting pinned by some "cheap" move..... ? Twice? Laber was ahead in the freestyle match. But he was not in the greco. He was not "dominating" in either. Give Lack some credit. He placed 8th at Junior Nationals in Fargo. If a wrestler is "dominating" he does not get pinned in a "cheap" move....twice!

I'm not defending either Lack or Laber, they are both very good wrestlers, Laber IS very dominating and i don't think that there is such a thing as a "cheap" move, you do what you have to, its wrestling... you go w/whatever works, that's why this is the best sport there is, anything can happen, anytime, anywhere, to anyone!
