If lennox is up there for a chance to win then Brandon Valley should too. We beat them in our dual by atleast 15 points and we beat them on saturday at brookings too.(there was a scoring error, brad paulson got 7th at 171 which put us .5 points ahead of lennox for 6th)

I think it will be tough for yankton to win the individual tourny because they wont qualify much at their upper weights. with the exception of hvy wieght. So im gonna go with winner. One question: Can any beat, no i mean even takedown Nick Smith at 119!! He beat Lere from BV #2 At 119, #6 in Dynomite dozen 15-7! and those 7 were al escape pts Nick gave him.

I have been to every state A wrestling tournament since 1978. One thing is constant........ Watertown!!!
You can go all year and not hear anything about them, then at state..... POW!!! 1st, 2nd or 3rd place automatically, or it seems that way anyhow.
As a Winner fan, I am riding high at this time, but common sense and history would tell me, "EASY BOY, let's not get all big and bad 'till it's in the books"
By the Way, why is everyone counting Steven's out? They are only down one wrestler and they always peek at State tournament time.
This will be an amazing State tournement 5-6 teams could do it, and the points will be darn close

I agree, for a change it looks like a wide open tournament. As always, sickness, injuries, Regional upsets, and who is peaking at the right time will tell the tale. Good luck to everybody ! It's going to be some good watching!!

Yankton, Winner, and Sturgis will get the most kids out of regions. That is always a big factor. Watertown will be their too, but I think this is Yankton's year...maybe even a sweep of the tournaments.

it will be an awesome tourney this year, Watertown, Winner, Sturgis, Mitchell, and Stevens all surpurb teams I can't wait to be there... the Dual tourney will go how ever and I don't care about that one, but its still fun to watch some teams dual that never get too during the regular season
