Nobody could throw a headlock like Austin Decautau (sorry if the last name is spelled wrong) he could throw it out of no where and when it seemed like there was no way it could be thrown, end rusult... 6 points!

Buzzsaw.....is there anything else you would like to try to impress us with while your at it? Check your ego at the registration area and talk wrestling. I'm sure there are many individuals on here who could list impressive resume's, but nobody really cares, were on here to talk wrestling, not brag about our high school jock straps.

Buzzsaw, if you are such an ubelievable thrower, how many Greco matches have you won? Being able to throw average high school kids is one thing, being able to throw someone with any ability is another.

Two of the best throwers would have to be Jeremy Welder and Troy Sabot. Wrestled their way through a 100 man bracket to meet in the Greco National Final. Sabot five pointed welder and later welder headlocked sabot to his back for the pin and the National Championship.

I think that Jeramie Welder and Casey Gillis had great throws. Also Eric Sabot and Ryan Lack had great throws from a standing position.

In my experience, if you are wrestling anyone from Hettinger or Century, you had better watch out for a headlock. Especially someone named Honeyman or Sabot. My motto is: Live by the throw, die by the throw. Usually the big "throwmonsters" can't be the top dog very long after good wrestlers know whats coming. That said-- It does make for good watching so THROW "EM !!

wrestlersdad: thanks I actually forgot about Bill Sabot. I have to say he had one of the best headlocks around. He could set up a headlock from anywhere. ;D

I agree with you about people that live with a headlock, but there wrestlers that learn to win without it. For the wrestlers that win without it, good luck. They will get you one way or another.

Yes, throwing is exciting and most of the time changes the tide of a match. I do feel, however that guys who have that tendency to throw often become too one-dimensional and can be countered and stopped more easily than the man who shots all day and pushes the offensive. although, nobody can deny how sweet a great throw looks, and the sound is even greater.

Honeyman...if you're so good why don't you sign your name to any of your posts?? And why don't you have any records at Hettinger and why aren't you wrestling at Northern State?

some of you guys should just lay off Buzz saw. Greco isn't all its cracked up to be either. Brandon Lemer is a 2 time Triple Crown winner, and I don't recall seeing him throw once during is Folkstyle matches?? So does that make him a bad thrower even though he won the State Greco, Freestyle, and Folkstyle two years in a row. One of the most impressive throwers i have seen were the Basting brothers from Grand Forks. phil doesn't throw as much as he used to, but he used to throw all the time, and he set them up so well. John is equally impressive when he does decide to throw.
