For Class B in Region 1 - Dom Reis, Jace Carter, Taylor Jenner, McCleary brothers, Jeremy Bitz (too close to tell) Region 2 - Shane Hase, Joey Irmen Region 3 - Eric Splichal, Jon Neshiem Region 4 - Kurt Lennick, Brandon Henderson, Seth Murphy (too close to tell).
I feel the inside track would have to go to Shane Hase.

I think Marc Mellmer of Dickinson has the inside track on Mr. Wrestler for Class A.

As to luv2pin's list of candidates.....what about Michaelson? He was the state champ in Sundby's and Czapeiwski's weight class.

The reason I listed Sundby & Czapeiwski on my list was their overall accomplishments while in high school. They have proven themselves the past 3 years. I feel you cannot put any doubt that Matt has established himselve as a major contender for his 2nd title. After watching him the past 2 summers, I knew he was going to be a very good wrestler. If Matt does some great things this wrestling season, then I would have to put him on my list.

The class b race for Mr. Wrestler is between Hase and Henderson there are many other great talents in the state with Irman and Bitz but Hase and Henderson have done to much. If both go undefeated this year look for Hase to get Mr. Wretler because Henderson has never beat him.

Dom Reis doesn't deserve the award. I was at the Carrington tournry over the weekend where he got overhauled twice and was very unsportmanlike in shoving a kid from the opposing team on his way to the locker room after he lost. There is no place in the sport for that crap.

class B:Kurt Lennick Shane Haas McCleary Bros. Irman(possibly) Henderson had a good chance until he flushed it down the drain w/ that minor. Reis but he'll have to pick it up so he's back at last years pase. and Reis has a good of chance as anybody and not giving it to him cuz he was upset about a tough loss is just wrong.

Mitch Greenwood could be a candidate he shows very good sportsmanship in his matches and never shows disrespect to officials or coaches.

I think For B would have to be hase, henderson, and Irmen, Hase has been in the state tournament since the 7th grade and taking 2nd already as an 8th grader. Henderson has been making the finals since the 10th grade when Hase beat him. Irmen has been placing in the State Tournament also, since he was young. Kurt Lennick doesn't have much for Career since his brother Derrick was always at 103. A great Junior year , and so far this year is going good for Kurt. Last year Kerr had a good year and is having one this year also, Don't know much about him before last year. I guess to me, Mr. Wrestler should be the wrestler with the best Overall Career. Thats why it don't make sense to me that some people want to wait to vote until AfTER the state finals. Does ONE match make or take Mr. Wrestler away from someone with a prestigious career??? I just remember when Meuller from Hillsboror was a 2 time state champ ( I think) and then lost his Senior year in the Finals. He still got Mr. Wrestler, but some people didn't think he should have, since he never won state his senior year. I don't see anything wrong with a one time runner-up and a 2 time state champ. the next in line was a first time state champ that won it that same year. Region 1: Jeremy Bitz (state champ), Jace Carter (runner-up last year) Region 2: Shane Hase, Joey Irmen Region 3: Gabe Davidson, ? Region 4: Danny Hendeson (Runner-up 2001, State Champ 2002),and either Daniel Kerr (State Champ 2002) or Lennick (State Champ 2002) Class A, I would say Mellmer (GREAT CAREER) should win it in class A or maybe even that Dan White from Jamestown, if White is a senior.

Sliver,
I've read a few of your remarks and you've said some nice things about me but i don't think that i should even be mentioned in this link. The wrestlers on this link are all state champions, sometimes a couple times over and have been competing successfully on varsity before i even thought about wrestling varsity. Thanks for the flattering comment but i just don't think it is one that should be made.

For Mr. Wrestler I think all of you have named the top candidates. For me i would have to think that the McCleaey brothers, Irmen, and Hase are at the top with Hase in the lead.
Class i think that Mellmer is the front runner but i also like Dan White and you can't forget about Michaelson and Brandon Kok has also had a great career. I also think Mahlum could be a candidate if he comes back from the shoulder injury strong and does well at state.
