I heard from a student of mine that Brock was on Monday nite Nitro a week ago.. any news.... Now, I really don't want this place to turn into a Pro-Wrestling Board... because it has very little to do with the sport I love (real wrestling). I just want an update on Brock.
Thanks

As you can see by by name, I'm a little embarrassed to know as much about pro wrestling as I do, but here's the skinny on Lesnar. He will be appearing on a regular basis on WWF Monday Night RAW (TNN, 8 PM). Over the last two weeks, Brock has emerged from the crowd with a heel (bad guy) manager named Paul Heyman to attack wrestlers (cough, cough), I mean actors already involved in matches. He has performed unbelievable strength moves and will likely have a similar wrestling style to Bill Goldberg. The WWF hopes that Lesnar can develop the charisma displayed by former Olympic gold medalist and current WWF superstar, Kurt Angle. (Interesting note here: Lesnar and Angle did NOT get along backstage. Two months ago they engaged in a scuffle and had to be separated). Lesnar has spent the last year learning the ropes in the WWF's development league--Ohio Valley Wrestling where he tag teamed with another former Gopher wrestler--Shelton Benjamin as the Minnesota Stretching Crew. He has bulked up to over 300 pounds and has added several tatoos including one covering his back. --He's come along way since Webster, South Dakota and Bismarck State College.

We normally do not watch WWF but the other night I scanned the TV and ran into Brock wrestling. I don't agree with the show he is putting on but, God he was BIG and has a few TATOOS. I guess as long as he still promotes the real wrestling, GO BROCK!
