Who do you feel will wrestle at the high school weights next year? 103-275 I think it would be fun to speculate where everyone will be for next year. After seeing the weight gains of some of the kids this past weekend: W O W some of the 103lb this year are wrestling 119 - 125 some of the 112lb this year are wrestling 140 - 145 let us know what you think?

Who were some of the 112 lbs at 140 - 45 and the 103 at 119 - 25? Some are probably just having their growth spurts.

In the Class B of the state Champs I think it will go like this.
Lennick - 103 Haugen - 125 Kerr - 125 Chase - 130 Henderson - 135 Reis - 140 Neshiem - 145 Imdieke - 160 Bitz - 275
For Class A I think it will go
Glasser - 112 Lang - 125 Stockert - 130 Bastings - 130 Covington - 140 Michaelson - 160

Look for Class A to be loaded next year between 119 and 140 with Lang, Wallace, Mellmer, Stockert, Sebeluis, Bastings, Krumm, Hilfer, Bischof, Covington, White, and Kok among others. Some may try to go up to 145, but they better lift wieghts in the off-season. There's not a lot of room to duck and run from the best of the best, but in this group, with no disrespect to any of the others, Covington is going to be the toughest to beat. He's not as explosive and dominating as he probably could be, but he's tougher than hell to score on. I've seen him wrestle a few times and he just never gets out of good position.

Basting said is is going to go 130 Covington - 135 - from Phil?
Mellmer said he is going 125
Lang I think 125
These are the only ones that have said anything.

i really hope that some of those guys dont wimp out and go to some other weight class instead or going where they should and wrestling tougher kids.....i mean it would be so great for a lang/mellmer finals at every tourney they are in.....thats what is good for wrestling and publicity for the sport not for some kid to walk thro some weight class that they over match every kid the wrestle talents wise......thats the one advantage class b has b/c there are good kids every where ....that will atleast challenge u...in class a tho bastings will easily walk thro it with out a fight and so will covey if white avoids him like he probly will.........later

ND wrestler--I don't if there is a lot of room to run--just looking at that entry by Les Moore. He brought up several good wrestlers that could challenge for state titles and there aren't enough weight classes to go around. I have to disagree, though about saying that class B has good wrestlers at every weight. Look at the state Freestyle results this year.--It's all Class A kids. even the best of B like Jesse Laber couldn't beat the best of Class A kids. Class B has more parody, but definately not better quality that Class A. You can't convince me that the B state champs would win more than a couple matches (145, maybe 103 or 125) against the Class A state champs.

More people talking nuts
about bsimarck high wrestlers .Silbernagle may enjoy hunting but he'll probably be hunting for a state championship in February and don't act suprised when he gets it. Also leave Englehardt alone, and just watch him drop everybody. Unless you know what your talking about keep your nuts
talking mouths shut, HUH.

He's not saying that englehart won't be tough. He and alot of other people wonder if englehart can make it through a whole season with out getting into trouble. And personally me and many others do think he's nuts.

While I'm not at liberty to comment specifically about Alex, I will say there are medical conditions such as clinical depression, bi-polar disorder, etc., which affect a persons behavior. Couple that with experiencing all of the "teenager pressures" that occur and you can see there are explanations for irrational behavior. These conditions are very real. Personally, Alex has been a handful to coach, but I have not given up on him. Where would someone who struggles with these types of issues be without athletics to give them a chance to become successful? Alex's teachers are very complimentary of him this year--and I honestly feel he has turned the corner. I'm hoping I've enlightened many of you who are critical of him to maybe give him another chance. He does have a very nice side.
