Well I'd have to say that bishop ryan would have to be the favorite in class B right now after watching John Lafontaine this weekend in carrington he looks unstoppable at 119 #'s

How can you say Minot Ryan is the favorite just because Lafontain is "unstoppable"? So lets say Lafontaine is state champ at #119. A few more points that last year when he place pretty high. Doesnt look now like Haugen is going to get the points for a championship. So it looks like a wash there.

i dont know who would be a favorite right now. its kinda hard to say considering we are only 2 tournaments into the season. i mean we(cns) lost to bishop ryan in velva but in carrington we beat them. plus harvey is not a team to underestimate either. theres alot of good teams out there and im not gonna say who i think is on the top as of right now because there really isnt much to go by yet. good luck to everyone though

i agree with dane it is tough to decide right now. most people would be gunning for napoleon especially after winning the carrington dual tourney, which was basically the state dual tourney without hettinger. i think minot ryan could have made the dual alot closer with napoleon and i beleive it WILL be alot closer the next time they meet.center-new salem has a pretty solid team put together, individually and dual-wise.

aaaaaaaa,,,if ryan plans on being the favorite come state time they are going to have to come up with about 35 more on their side of board to beat napoleon if i rember right in carington the dual wasnt even close. ;D

Minot Ryan??? I believe they are pretty good, but if you match them up head to head with teams, they are just a guy or two behind. Hettinger is going to be a sleeper. Napoleon has peaked too soon. The pressure will get the best of them. Hettinger will be right in the thick of things. Randy Burwick will have them hungry for another state title. good luck to all those teams

Napoleon won the East/West by twenty points guys. When are you going to give them some credit and actually realize that they are the team to beat. I feel the only race is going to be for second with Minot Ryan and Hettinger. Napoleon is heads above the rest of the field.

The Forum has Watford City beating Hettinger 40-24. Is that true or a miss print? If it is, is Watford the sleeper?

I don't know if Hettinger beat Watford City last night, but 171# Dusty Vliem did not wrestle last night. He was sick with the flu. That would have been a pin for Hettinger. If you guys don't know, Dusty is currently ranked in the nation as a sophomore and is currently undefeated at 171 with all of his wins by pin except for one match. I don't know what the final score was though.

Anybody know what Levi Haugen weighed/wrestled at the dual tournament this weekend? Also curious to see who he wrestled and how he did. I heard he woudl be the 3 seed in his region at 130, just wondering how and what he did. Alot of people are curious to see what he is going to do, mainly for seeding purposes at 125 or 130.

Haugen (130) at Kenmare yesterday...
2 duals...
2 forfeit wins.
Six points is six points, but it would have been nice to see him wrestle this weekend.

Peaked to soon? Napoleon's closest dual was the first dual of the year against C/NS. Kelly McCleary didnt wrestle in that dual. Now C/NS is missing dane Heid. Do the math. I dont remember the exact score agianst Minot Ryan but napoleons lead in the end was in the high teens. and if you think Napoleon has peaked they havent showed any signs of coming back down.
