Who should have been Mr. Wrestler in Class B? Shase hase; good wrestler and even a better kid but I just dont think he measured up. Kerr-2xSC along with Lennick-2xSC. Alot of good wrestlers that were up for it and I dont think that Hase Measured Up. Just my opinion.

Hase had a great career: 211 career wins and only like 20 losses, 16 or something like that as a 7th grader. state qualifier as a 7th grader, 2nd as a an 8th grader. then he got 3rd as a freshman. lost to irmen in OT in the semis. beaten him 5 times prior ro that match that year. pinned his way back for third. 1st as a sophmore over Brandon henderson. then last year would have won state but got a spinal infection and had to default out, still made the semis at only 30 percent. He wasn't even supposed to wrestle in the state tournement. ended up in the hospital for a week after state. He only gave up one takedown the whole year. He crushed kerr at East/west last year like 8-1 and dominated everyone else. Would've walked through state last year if 100 percent. This year he still had a great year. Kerr really came around and is a tough competitor. It was a great match. Hase also beat Haugen, the 130 pound state champ twice this year. Great kid and great attitude. I think Irmen probably took a close second in voting in my opinion. He has also had a great career from when he was way young, but wrestled some tough weight classes. He was always with Hase or henderson it seemed liked, and just couldn't quite get the edge on them. Glad he won it this year finally!

This is a tough one, I wanted Irmen to win but Hase, Kerr,Lennick these are all good wrestlers. Lennick is to light, he is basically wrestling kids at least 2 years younger and that probably went against him and Kerr was possibly the best of these guys at the end but didn't have the 4 or 5 year career that Irmen and Hase had. I figured Joey had a shot as he moved up several times to better Carrington's team he showed no fear and he moved up from an easier 140 to alot tougher 145 to help make us a better individual team and still won it with ease.He also beat McCleary at 152 in the dual with relative ease, I thought all these things would help him but Hase is a good kid and a hell of a wrestler, I'm happy for him, I hope we can read about all of these kids in college next year.
