Can anyone tell me who the SHORT older ref was at Region 2 in Casselton? Also the taller ref with glasses? Those 2 guys together were the WORST! Like the blind leading the blind! Then we also had a first year ref,who was placed along with the SHORT older ref, those 2 together weren't much better. The SHORT older ref should definitely retire! Of the 4 refs there, there was only 1 good one. If anyone could tell me their names, and tell me if they felt the same, I would really appreciate it! I heard that Minnesota pays their refs more than ND so alot of the good refs were over in MN...example Neil Litton. Where were John Nelson? And Joe Roth? I hope that Region 2 gets better refs next year...I hate to be a whiner...but after Saturday I now do think that BAD refs CAN defininitely affect the outcome of the matches.

I'm not sure who the SHORT older ref is but i agree w/you 100% he wan't in the right position to make good calls because he was too slow and he couldn't get down to look for backs or get back up quick enough to see some other calls when he did get down. I just hope that the best refs in the state be made available for minot this week, it would be a shame if someone missed a golden oportunity because of a bad call... YES, a bad ref CAN affect the outcome of matches.

We are not here ti bash refs. Yes they can have an affect on the outcomes of matches....But believe me they do the best they can and not everyone agrees on all calls... Judgement becomes and issue. Leave it at that. This shouldn't be an issue for this board.
Sorry, I am locking this issue so it doesn't get bad.
