If you take your emotions out of the poll this would be the best dream team. 103 - Glasser - Bismarck High 112 - Trottier - Belcourt 119 - Lang - Bismarck High 125 - Mellmer - Dickinson 130 - Bastings - GF Red River 135 - White - Jamestown 140 - Sabot - Century 145 - Staska - West Fargo 152 - Olsen - Jamestown 160 - Michaelson - Dickinson 171 - Jensen - Williston 189 - Piper - Bismarck High 215 - Thompson - Wapheton 275 - Kling - Fargo North This would be the best Class A team a coach could put together. I would challenge a coach to line up a tournament taking these kids and match them up with other states. ;D

This would be my Dream Team:
103- Glasser- Bismarck 112- Trottier- TMCHS 119- Lang- Bismarck 125- Mellmer- Dickinson (If healthy) Stockert- Bismarck (If not) 130- Bastings- GFRR 135- Covington- GFRR 140- Sabot- Century 145- Mahlum- Bismarck (If healthy) Imdieke- Linton (If not) 152- Michaelson- Dickinson 160- Olson- Jamestown 171- Mayo- Hillsboro 189- Piper- Bismarck 215- Thompson- Whapeton 275- Anderson- Williston
This is THE TEAM!! I know some of you are not happy with the two class "B" wrestlers in there but they get my vote. Also Im not so sure Mr. Olson would be happy with cutting down to 152. **No disrespect to those of you who did not get my vote. Keep working hard.

Hey Matman, You have obviously been attending a few too many basketball games because you are wrong on 9 (count em) of your picks. Did you attend the State Tournament? Hoag ahead of Thompson? Anderson ahead of Kling? Neigum ahead of Lang? Do you know the records of these guys. Hoag has never beat Thompson, Anderson never beat Kling and Lang beat Neigum all year long. Dude, get the pumpkin out of your hand, stop dribbling and deal with the stats!

hmmm, maybe I misunderstood the original post. Who would you (being me) pick to be on your dream team dual team from this year? So if these are my picks how can I be wrong? I picked the wrestlers that I would like to have on my dual team. I am sorry if I didn't pick all state champs or picked people that lost to someone during the year. If I didn't pick Kling, Anderson or Lang that's up to me. I did attend the state tournament and believe me I know the stats. No pumpkin in my hand and the only dribble was in your last post.

Dream Team...........most of them look pretty good. Grand Forks over the weekend of the 2nd of March there was a pretty good match up between two state champions. Class B 125# champion Chris Chase and Class A 130# champion Phil Bastings. Score ended up being 7-4. Chris Chase. Chase had Bastings pretty tight on his back at one point. Anyone got room on there team for Chase?

Dream Team 103-Lennick 112-Haugen 119-Lang 125-Mellmer 130-Basting 135-Covington 140-Sabot 145-Imdieke 152-Michaelson 160-Olson 171-Mayo 189-Piper 215-Thompson 275-Kling
This is my Dream Team. I am also going to give out awards, MVW - Eric Sabot Hardest Worker - Travis Lang I noticed all of you picked Ike Trottier over Levi Haugen, however, I picked Haugen. These two were suppose to wrestle in the third round of the Minot Early Bird tournament. Both wrestlers were 2-0 @ that point of the tournment A lot of us were looking forward to this match. The 103 class A champion vs. the 103 class B champion, but Trottier refused to wrestle.

To be fair on Trottier's behalf, I was told he was sick that day and his coach would not let him wrestle. I also waited to see that match. It would have been a great one.

I have to agree I missed a few wrestlers that should have included in my first poll. My updated poll would read: 103 - Lennick 112 - Haugen 119 - Lang 125 - Mellmer 130 - Bastings 135 - White 140 - Sabot 145 - Imdieke 152 - MIchaelson 160 - Olsen 171 - Mayo 189 - Piper 215 - Thompson 275 - Kling There are alot of deserving wrestlers worth watching, but these are the ones I would put against the best against many other states.
