I doubt very highly if he will beat Lemke but Ryan Orel has moved up to 140. And if you are talking freshman I think Orel would take Jarman.

I see Jarmen is ranked 10th in the state. Why is everybody voting for him? Did he beat somebody recently that was ranked in the top 5. I personally think lemke will eat them all up. Maybe Jarmen just has a lot of fans. I was just wondering why everyone was voting for him?

probably same person signing up for multiple user names and voting over and over for him, I would guess.... doesn't do Jarman any good.... will just make people cheer more when he gets beat. Too bad for the kid, he doesn't really deserve to be dealing with that.

Miller: Jarmen didn't beat anyone ranked 5 or better but gave some kids that were ranked 5 or better a big run like Mark Donnelly from Epj he is currently ranked 4 and the same week he wrestled against Kurk Broderson from Lennox, which he is ranked 3 and Jarmen was beating him 4-3 with 20 seconds left in the match. Then i noticed he had a close match wiht watkins from Roosevelt which was a one point match. So i wouldn't just doubt him yet.

If we're talking freshman in this weight class, we better not forget Weiss from Hot Springs. At 26-0, he may be the best freshmen of the bunch.

I would like to reply on Cameron Weiss being maybe the best 140 freshman. My 140 has wrestled and lost twice (14-12 and 12-5) and my kid doesn't suck infact he might suprise a few people at state. But as for Weiss, I can't wait to see him against the best that east river has to offer. No he can't beat Lemke, but then again, I don't think anyone can. But Weiss is in the running for top 4 finish at state. He is smooth as silk and awesome on his feet. A great match up at regions will be Orel and Weiss. At least i think Hot Springs and Winner are in the same Region. I'm Class b so I don't know for sure. We just compete mainly against A schools from the west.

From what I have seen, Cameron Weiss is one of the best wrestlers in the state. I know in fact that he could be Oral. Oral took 3rd at the Winner Tournament, while Weiss took 1st. Weiss is now 28-0. There is no question that he will win Region 3. Lemke is a stud this year, but I think Weiss is in the running anywhere from 1-3.

I think Lemke will definitally win state. Also Alex Watkins from Sioux Falls Roosevelt seperated his shoulder? Or did something with his shoulder to that extent and is out for the year. Thats to bad because he had a good chance to place at state.
